What Happens At Gatherings
While every Gathering has its own vibe – and sometimes the number of attendees dictates what takes place – the following agenda is how most Gatherings run. Gatherings are between 1.5 and 2 hours long. Do what feels right for you and right at the time.
5 MINUTES – INTRODUCTION BY LEADER/ORGANIZER
Welcome everyone, introduce yourself, explain what Ellementa is all about (Some Talking Points are on Page 26 in FAQ).
5-10 MINUTES – THANKING SPONSORS + Show & Tell
If you have Sponsors, this portion varies depending on their Sponsorship Level. Level 1 or 2 Sponsors can take the floor BRIEFLY to introduce their company and products. Or if they can’t send a rep, they may provide a script to you to introduce them. Some sponsors may want to sell items at your Gathering. This must be arranged by us so please let us know at [email protected] if a sponsor wants to sell something. We also may arrange for items to be sold at your Gathering, and if available, will provide you with the option to sign up as an affiliate to receive additional revenue through commissions. This is OPTIONAL.
20 MINUTES GUEST EXPERT Q&A OR TOPIC INTRODUCTION IF NO EXPERT
Most people are not professional speakers. We highly recommend you either lead the conversation or set things up as a Q&A where you are the moderator asking questions of experts whom you invite to participate. If you have deep expertise in the subject matter, you don’t need to invite experts although they can be an attraction and help market your Gathering. A Level 1 Sponsor may opt to send an expert to be part of your program. Sponsors can be great sources of information on topics like vaping, microdosing, pain management and the opioid crisis.
If you don’t have an expert, you can start with going around the room and let women introduce themselves. Then launch into the subject matter with a better understanding of who is in the room. This may be challenging with more than 20 women but ideal in a smaller group.
30-60 MINUTES – OPEN THE FLOOR – The Wellness Circle
If you have guest experts, you can open it up for women in attendance to ask questions. If you don’t have an expert, this is the time to impart knowledge.
5 MINUTES – CLOSING
Thank Sponsors, if any. Hold any Giveaways (optional). Encourage women to provide their email addresses on an email list form. If they registered through Eventbrite, we have their email addresses already BUT if they are someone’s guest or if they paid at the door, we don’t and may not be able to contact them again if you don’t ask for their email addresses. You can also invite them to join your state-specific Facebook Group to stay in touch.
