The main Gathering expenses tend to be 1) venue if you cannot find a free one but this must be covered by a sponsor if there is a venue fee; 2) printing and advertising, if you choose to do that; 3) light refreshments if you choose to have them. These are NOT REIMBURSABLE but can be recouped through ticket sales or sponsorship sales. Create a warm, comfortable and welcoming space but keep expenses low.
*Venue – Venue must be free or “fee-waived” in exchange for digital marketing exposure. If your venue has a fee, you must first obtain a sponsor to offset venue costs. Asking a venue to waive their fee is called an in-kind sponsorship (not a donation). We will treat the venue as a Sponsor and provide 3-4 weeks of digital marketing. Ellementa will not pay for venue rentals.
Refreshments – We provide you with a one-time $25 stipend for your first Gathering. This is provided within 30 days AFTER your launch Gathering. Most Gatherings happen in the evening or afternoon so water, juice or tea and fruit or crackers are sufficient. Light snacks are NOT required and NOT reimbursable. Napkins, plates, and cups are NOT reimbursable. TIP: Ask an edibles company to provide non-medicated samples in exchange for marketing.
Printing – You can choose to print locally using the graphic files we provide. Digital files for Ellementa-branded print collateral are found in Leader Online Resources. We do not pay for printing. You can recoup this expense through ticket sales or sponsorship sales.
Advertising —Ellementa provides digital marketing and social media marketing for each of your Gatherings. Local marketing and advertising is up to you.
