Let’s Talk About: Cannabis for Women’s Sexual Wellness

Join us at Ellementa Women’s Wellness Gatherings for empowering knowledge & conversation!

This month, we’re talking about cannabis and CBD for women’s sexual health.

~How can cannabis support female sexual health?

~How can cannabis and CBD address very real sexual health issues women face, especially as we age, including dryness, painful sex, and low libido?

~How are other women using it?

~What are the high-quality products that work?

If you are looking to have a healthier sex life, enhanced sexual health, and to simply feel better, this Gathering is for YOU.

Learn from our Ellementa Leaders, our Guest Experts and our Trusted Brands at every Ellementa Women’s Wellness Gathering. Bring a girlfriend or any woman you know who can benefit from these inspiring events.

We look forward to seeing you! #FeelBetter

We create welcoming spaces where women can come together to speak openly about cannabis wellness. Cannabis has been used to enhance women’s health for centuries. Ellementa organizes Gatherings in over 50 cities connecting women to cannabis experts and brands. Learn about cannabis for health, wellness, self-care, and caregiving. These are non-consumption, educational monthly events for women/female-identified only.

At each monthly Ellementa Gathering, we’ll explore why cannabis and CBD are so compatible with the human body and answer all of your questions. (If we don’t know the answers, we’ll find them!)

Heather Rider, CEO and Co-Founder Course Magazine, Sexuality Educator

heather riderAs a Sexuality Educator, Heather is conducting an in-depth study, gaining an up-to-date knowledge base, and continue her work of protecting our rights in-person, online and uncensored for those whose sexual interest are kink, BDSM, or consensual non-monogamy or who have felt marginalized by larger academic institutions. Currently working towards her national accreditation with the Sexual Health Alliance and the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapist. Heather is an active part of the legislative community in Illinois, and supports developing legislation and policies to advance legalization and decimalization of cannabis, queer/GNC/ trans-inclusive comprehensive sex education, affirmative care, and protect the rights of consensual sex workers.

As the CEO and Founder of Course Magazine, Heather helps curate credible, intersectional content from all walks of life on relationships, sexuality, and intimacy. Course Magazine focuses on diversity, equity, and inclusion from spiritual, racial, sexual, and gender perspectives. Their goal is to provide print and digital content to bring people together in conversation and to honor individual desires and choices. Course Magazine is currently developing sexuality education curriculum for both businesses and individuals. Heather feels like it’s imperative that we have a deeper understanding of sexuality and intimacy to further what “credible” is for our community and to uphold the standards of the community.

In sum, the culmination of Heather’s experiences being in a community, of what much of our society deems as taboo while being a part of the legislative community, she has learned how to hold space for many individuals’ experiences at once. Her previous work at Catharsis Productions, a sexual violence prevention education company, taught her how to walk into a room of individuals and meet them where they are at, build report, and take them where they need to go to have real conversations around sexuality, respect, and the influences of power. Heather has learned that sometimes you are planting the seed for the next person or experience to come along to water. Working in politics with people who experience different views than herself helped Heather see that we actually may hold the same values and can build relationships by asking quality questions to get us to a common ground of respect and understanding.
