Bay Area Premiere Screening-Mary Janes: The Women of Weed + Cannabis Salon

March 8 @ 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm UTC-8

Welcome to the Bay Area Premiere Screening of Mary Janes: The Women of Weed + Cannabis Salon

Hosted by: Tali Eisenberg + Geter Done Productions

March 8th is International Women’s Day + March, is also Women’s History Month…

And to celebrate the amazing women in our cannabis industry as well as community, Tali Eisenberg + Geterdone Productions will be hosting the Premiere Bay Area Screening of Windy Borman’s Mary Janes: Women of Weed – Breaking the Grass Ceiling documentary + Local Cannabis Salon & Marketplace.

-This is a historic moment in time.

Never before has an industry like cannabis existed, and WOMEN are on the forefront, pioneering and changing the face and cultural landscape of what is today’s fastest growing business venture- CANNABIS.

This event will showcase and highlight the fierce and bold pioneering women in the cannabis space who are forging new paths of leadership, entrepreneurship and social justice.

-Join filmmaker Windy Borman, as she explores through film, the movement to end cannabis prohibition, her own relationship to the plant, and the stereotypes surrounding it.

Through a series of empowering and educational interviews with a broad diversity of women leading the industry today, Windy’s own assumptions are transformed as she discovers cannabis liberation intersects with the most urgent social justice issues of our time. She learns how this green revolution has big effects on feminism, environmental sustainability, ending the War on Drugs + the Prison-Industrial Complex, and the destructive domination of Big Pharma.
